We support our clients by providing them with accurate and timely financials; managing their receivables, payables, sales tax, inventory, payroll; collaborating with their tax professionals, and educating them to ensure they understand the financial side of their business.

We’re looking to hire a Lead Bookkeeper and Client Manager. This is a remote position, and we want a superstar ⭐ who will be with us long-term.

Part-Time Lead Bookkeeper / Client Manager

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients while being their main point of contact, providing top-notch customer service, handling all core bookkeeping functions and building financial work processes, including but not limited to data entry, expense coding, accounts payable and receivable management, inventory management, reconciliations, analysis, financial app integrations and more. This part-time remote W2 position with flexible hours up to 20+ hours per week with potential for more offering a competitive wage of $25-$28/hour. Accounting Expertise:

  • Utilize advanced QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop features to manage financial records.
  • Perform advanced bookkeeping tasks, including complex reconciliations, payroll, journal entries, etc.
  • Advanced sales tax compliance, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Inventory management, adjusting entries and more.
  • Expertise in third party software such as: Bill.com, Dext, and others.
  • Complex cleanup projects
  • Financial statement analysis

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement within the bookkeeping workflows and implement best practices.
  • Streamline bookkeeping procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Document custom client procedures and keep them updated.

Client Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients.
  • Client onboarding and offboarding.
  • Email, phone, and communications with clients.
  • Remote meetings with clients to review financial statements, answer questions, solve problems, and empower them to make well-informed decisions.
  • Communicate information effectively to team members and managers.

Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles such as remote public accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Tech savviness and the ability to quickly adapt to software and tech tools is a must!
  • Strong analytical skills

Work Schedule:

This position is part-time, 20+ hours a week with the ability to do more if desired and as we grow.
